Life is good!

We are in Cocoa, FL having wonderful sunny 80 degree days and cold nights.
We are at Floyd Wall's home on a little lake.
We are very comfortable and today I had a chance to rest while Dad and Floyd went to a tool sale.

Tomorrow we are touring Cape Canaveral with passes that were loaned to us, saving us $40. each!

Our new SOWER assignment starts in Vero Beach on Monday, but we have to be there by Saturday. While there, I'll see a lot of Katie who lives 1 hour south.

There is a HOliday Inn across the lake and I am on their wireless!

Life is good!

sounds more like you have returned home now than when you returned home... thats great! im glad you are both doing so well. things are getting a little back to normal around here and although we had such a wonderful holiday it feels soooo good to just be home.
anitarae and al- thank you so much for everything, including all the stuff we forgot! alan brought it all home yesterday and it was christmas all over again.
got to go play "Mr. Noodle" with jack

Did you know: That water boils at 198 degrees up here? Thus, food takes longer to cook cuz the water isn't hot enuf. Breads rise very quickly, but they aren't truly 'proofed' so must rise a 3rd time... Cakes rise so fast in the oven, (because of lack of air pressure above them,)that they will pour over the top of the tin before they can bake enuf to support themselves! Liquid evaporates so fast that two extra tablespoons must be added per cup to produce a product that is not dried out. Hmmmmmmmm... My culinary reputation is at stake!
