So, March has been pretty typical.... it was 60 degrees for a few days, followed by 2 snow storms, now it's warming up again. We've all been busy as usual, Emma has officialy applied to Lehman, an alternative middle/high school for next year. (the school believes that depth of education is better than bredth, also very into being part of a community. they do alot of projects, community service, trips ect.)Such a big deal!! She's going to middle school next year!! Ahhhh! No worries though. Em is up to the challenge, of course she's a bit intimidated at the prostpect of moving on, she seems more excited about moving up. Let's see, do we need a Jack update? He's been sooooo fun. Asked me to take him to get his haircut the other day, it's a good thing someone has been paying attention to these things. He is very particular about what he wants to wear. often it's his soccer shirt, but sometimes he likes to get dressed up..... either way he is a love bug, he a...

Uncle Bill Update

Hi! Dad and I went to see Uncle Bill last night. He is all 'set up' at Tim and Sheryl's in his own private 'quarter' with his own entrance... yet totally incorporated life-wise and meal-wise with the family. They have furnished his spacious room with new 'ponderosa' style furniture... plus a recliner and new, flat screened tv. Ellen and Bill's dog, Barney has moved with him and is a huge source of comfort to Bill... as Bill is to Barney. I asked Bill, how are you... REALLY doing?... Among other things he raves about his kids and their tlc...! However, before leaving, he shared with Dad and I that although he feels he is adjusting as well as possible... often... out of the clear, blue sky, the pain of loss of his lass flies up and hits him in the back of the head like a boulder... all over again! He is so glad to have work to do. Sher took Dad and I out to the land Bill is clearing where Tim and Sher will build their house starting this summer. It ...

Thank you, Leah!

Oh my goodness! What wonderful pictures you shared with all of us! I miss you all so much, but the pictures really help. I wanted to comment on Emma's pictures but I couln't get the blog to take my 'comment' so I'll just post my joy of seeing the trip pictures. What a wonderful time we had together. I really am impressed with the pictures of the sky! By the way, if the picture taken of her on the plane came out, I would love a copy of it if you could e-mail it. (Funny how they wouldn't let me board to take it...) Dumb ole secutity... Well thanks again, Leah for all the great pictures. And "Hi" to all! Hastily before I'm bumped! Mom

yes, we have been spending all winter in our pj's!

Here are some pic's from Em's trip!! We will send Emma with a camera wherever she goes from now on! It was so fun for us to see what you guys were up to, and to see her perspective. I think it was serendipitous, the roll started with the clouds and the plane leaving ny, and ended with the clouds and plane leaving fl. with lots of smiles between :0)

Hello

Sometimes my computer will stay connected for a min or two... so I rapidly say, 'Hello all!' These sure look like happy pictures of happy people! And I am happy that the 100 yr old chairs are being well resplected. Even when they are in the basement basement, they are in the lime light! ;) I would like to hear Alan tell his story, in his own words, about the staff presentation he did and how it was received. And what's this I hear about Emma doing Irish Step Dancing? Anything else we can celebrate? Dad and I moved to Stuart today.... and will start our new assignment on Monday. This will be our last month in FL. Then we head back to MS and then to TX to get driver's liscenses and then, probably on to Co. Springs to work at Navigator's which is located in the Garden of the Gods. I don't want to lose my shot at sending this... so I can't linger except to say, "Hello and may God bless and keep you!!!!
