Nancy Cove Whitney called and said that Alan did a steller and sensitive job presenting our tributes at the memorial service. She said, her "cry-o-meter" went over the top as she listened... and her "laugh-o-meter" did for Adam's. So, thank you, thank you sons, for making a big and important difference! We should have gone. I am sorry we didn't! This has been a very hard and lonely day for me. Blessings on each of you! Mom

Did you know that: It is still quite light out at 10:10 PM here on the coast of WA? We are located in a gorgeous retirement communtiy where everyone landscapes their little homes to the "t?" We are offered our main noon meal in a lovely dining room and the food is very, very good? We see Tom and Jeri almost every day and really enjoy reconnecting with them and their family? Tom's hand is really healed nicely and is the source of many jokes and much laughter as to the form and shapes of it. He says, his right hand is the one God made and his left is the one he made... With his right he waves hello and goodbye and with his left he waves hi and bye. Etc, etc... ; ) Positive mental attitude... That's Tom! Jerilyn makes wonderful "Precious Memories" books! Danny and Matt both have lovely homes? (Haven't been to Jason's or Andrew's yet...) All four boys have delightful wives? The weather has been beautiful here? Usually in the 70s and 80s. We ...

 

Well, your dad and I made it safely over the Rocky Mountains and that’s not a little thing! We have experienced the grandeur of our country and the beauty and majesty really blew us away! We drove through the Grand Tetons and did a few days in Yellowstone. Since Colorado Springs, we have driven 1,800 miles. We were tired by the time we got here. It was hard driving for Dad and I am a stress magnet, so we worked it together… We are so thankful for our good truck and for God’s protection. Friday, Uncle Tom and Aunt Jeri met us with open arms and a wonderful steak dinner. Then, today after church, we went to Dan and Delaine’s home for dinner. Matt and Jen were there with their two kids. Also, Jason and Kirston. They are a big, fun beautiful family and it was delightful to see them all laughing and interacting together! We missed Andrew and were glad we had connected to them in Dallas! Oh how I wish I could fly you all out for a weekend reunion while we are here! You would lo...
