Journal: January 21 Jupiter

January 21, 2006
Tonight I am thinking about how blessed we are to have modern methods of communication. I think the Blog is a great tool. Thanks, Adam. I enjoy reading it and posting on it. I especially like the comments because it’s instant feedback. It has the potential to really keep us together as a family. Alan, thanks for your help with the ebay saga. It’s going well, I think. The seller offered to take care of it and I have mailed it back to him. I am hoping it will be well resolved. I am a bit disappointed not to have the tool to use now though.
We just got home from Jupiter and a weekend with Katie and Dave. Anitarae is exhausted. She went to bed a few minutes ago (10:00) and she’s already asleep. Last night was pretty traumatic for her. At about 2:00 AM Jacque was asking to get out and she doubted his intentions. She thought he was just restless being in a strange room and didn’t believe he needed to go to the bathroom. Well, he did. So he did. He piddled on the rug and she nearly killed him. She was faced with a terrible problem. Trying to clean it up at that hour in a strange home, not knowing where cleaning supplies were, not wanting it to happen at all in Katie’s house…. But, she took care of it at the expense of her mental and physical well – being. She was quite sick all day, but kept going because she was at Katie’s house. All I had to do was walk the dog at 2AM in a strange neighborhood. He didn’t seem bothered by the time or place, he just took his time. Fortunately it was a nice night for a stroll.
We had a nice time with Katie and Dave. They were gracious hosts having planned great meals, and some fun times of games, shopping at a flea market , a picnic at a park on the water and a tour of Jupiter Island where there are homes of the rich and famous. The estates were pretty impressive, but we didn’t see Tiger Woods out in his yard as I had hoped.
It feels great to be back home. Now I’ll get some rest and await the unfolding of the next adventure.

Sorry the phone got disconnected on Saturday. I was at Stephanie's parents house in Long island without a phone charger.
