Hello everyone!! MaryJo called me today with some cool news. Josh has a painting of MJ being shown with some other peices publicly in Athens, GA. They were driving down the street when something caught Mj's eye- it was a magazine with Josh's painting on the cover!!! They pulled over and got a bunch of copies and called to let us know it is online here. I am so excited for them- and tickled that Mj is on the cover of a magazine... :0). Also, it gives me a reason to attempt putting a link into a post. if it doesn't work.... which is likely.... you can see the cover at www.flagpole.com.

Yep, it is supposed to be "Nest".
It's funny because Josh, as you know, loves to play on words, I personaly kind of like "Next" too though.... I think sometimes that I don't like words because I'm not good at writing... or spelling... but I love to think about words and thier meanings in all sorts of contexts.
And yep, it was a total surprize. Josh said that's just how they do it, no selling of rights involved, but finding out about it the way that they did made it even better.

Did you know: That water boils at 198 degrees up here? Thus, food takes longer to cook cuz the water isn't hot enuf. Breads rise very quickly, but they aren't truly 'proofed' so must rise a 3rd time... Cakes rise so fast in the oven, (because of lack of air pressure above them,)that they will pour over the top of the tin before they can bake enuf to support themselves!
