Here is Daddy working hard with Marinus.

Picture 2 is the 1st and 2nd graders I have been working with. Can you imagine how my heart aches for them? One little boy... (not pictured) should be in 3rd grade, but he didn't even know his letters when he came here 6 months ago. He, (James) is such a challenge, but he is learning by leaps and bounds. And, yes, he CAN read now, thanks to Hope Children's home. (He loves me and I just love that in a person...)

The picture below is when we packed into Barbara's rv to practice our Valentine Song! What fun! Also fun was our amazing day at the beach yesterday with Harry and Darlene and three Vinyard couples we hang out with back home. The gulf was azure blue, or pale, pale aqua. This photo does not capture the beauty.

So, you see... what we do is work and have fun. Work and have fun. And of course you know that the work is also the fun!
So... either way, life is such a wonderful joy. Serving Jesus is so precious!

Did you know: That water boils at 198 degrees up here? Thus, food takes longer to cook cuz the water isn't hot enuf. Breads rise very quickly, but they aren't truly 'proofed' so must rise a 3rd time... Cakes rise so fast in the oven, (because of lack of air pressure above them,)that they will pour over the top of the tin before they can bake enuf to support themselves! Liquid evaporates so fast that two extra tablespoons must be added per cup to produce a product that is not dried out. Hmmmmmmmm... My culinary reputation is at stake!
