Hi all! My sisters came to visit this weekened, it was incredibly fun and we did so much, including the annual egg drop. I'm happy to report that none of our eggs perished in the three story fall, and Ariana and Jack won awards for their awesome egg preservers! I must say that Taylor and Emma had really cool contraptions as well.... I'll post em' when i get pics.
The day after the drop, my neighbor Liz came over to show Jack this. So much fun.... just wanted to share!

oh- in case you don't catch it, jack and i are sitting with taylor and ari in the pic on the right, if you look super close you can see my moms shoulder and the tip of emma's pink shoe!

I THOUGHT THAT LOOKED LIKE JACK... BUT WITH EVERYONE LOOKING UP I COULND'T IMAGINE THAT I WAS BEING SO LUCKY... SO I JUST KEPT READING!

Have you seen Alexander's Easter Egg picture in his paper? He and Aaron made it, too!

What a nice surprise! Aunt Glenna sent me a copy of the picture from the Ithaca Journal!

So, now I have another famous family to hang on my refrigerator! I'm so proud....

Did you know: That water boils at 198 degrees up here? Thus, food takes longer to cook cuz the water isn't hot enuf. Breads rise very quickly, but they aren't truly 'proofed' so must rise a 3rd time... Cakes rise so fast in the oven, (because of lack of air pressure above them,)that they will pour over the top of the tin before they can bake enuf to support themselves! Liquid evaporates so fast that two extra tablespoons must be added per cup to produce a product that is not dried out. Hmmmmmmmm... My culinary reputation is at stake!
