Home Again...........

daddy and i arrived HOME this noon and all the way from wilkes barre, pa, we talked about what options we have for selling and rebuying vs investing... and it struck me that this isn't idle talk........ but rather, a life changing moment in our otherwise steady, stable lives.

well, i got so choked up i could hardly talk...........

and then, when we got to nys, and everything looked so wonderfully familiar......... i melted some more into a pool of nostalgia........

and THEN when we drove onto alden av and all our neighbors came out of their houses to greet us and hug our necks, i wanted to yell, 'STOP THE WORKS! I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE! WE HAVE TOO GOOD A LIFE HERE!!!'

so who knows if i'll have the courage and gumption to do all we have talked about.
one thing i know is i'm basking in the joy of being home and in familiar surroundings where people know and love us! and i'm so excited to have a car to drive! when we needed to eat i didn't have supper food so we went to hill top... and i made daddy ride and let me see if i could even remember how to drive... it felt good!

at hill top one of my former students waited on us and was reminiscing about my class... and that felt good too.

ahhhhhhhh........
what to do.......

We really cannot wait to see you on Sunday. It will feel so great to give you both a big hug! Anitarae, can you believe that it is almost your birthday? I remember your last one like it was yesterday, has it really been a whole year?! Wow.

cheesh. i'm so attached to our house, yard and ithaca life that i can't imagine what must be swirling through your head and heart.
last night jack and i went to the ithaca fest parade. I asked him what he like the best in the parade. he said, "The candy." so i asked him what he liked seeing the most. he said, "The people throwing out the candy."
emma had dress rehearsal and leah taped it. em looks and dances great. she is soooo big. cheesh.
