I came to the library to write a post but now I'm too tired. It was a long day at work.

I had a great time at Alan and Lean and Emma and Jackson's house this weekend. Emma beat me at chess. She obliterated me. But then I beat up Jackson and felt better. And then Stephanie beat Emma at chess, I think, and I felt great. Then I lost at Rummy and felt bad again. But then I kept beating Alan at pool, so Steph and I adopted a cat from the SPCA.

This next weekend will find us in Ithaca again, babysitting.

Oh my, I should eat.

We loved loved loved having you and Stephanie this weekend! What is the cats name and how does he like his new home? I think he looks Italian, or egyptian mut cat but needs and Italian name, like vermacelli or piccolo papa.
The kids had so much fun with you guys, they keep asking "how many days untill they come back?!" :0)

Did you know: That water boils at 198 degrees up here? Thus, food takes longer to cook cuz the water isn't hot enuf. Breads rise very quickly, but they aren't truly 'proofed' so must rise a 3rd time... Cakes rise so fast in the oven, (because of lack of air pressure above them,)that they will pour over the top of the tin before they can bake enuf to support themselves! Liquid evaporates so fast that two extra tablespoons must be added per cup to produce a product that is not dried out. Hmmmmmmmm... My culinary reputation is at stake!
