Still Safe!

Dad drove so well through all the twists and turns of the mountain terraine of The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. PtL! What adventure!

We have a great truck with a wonderful transmission that handles the challenges mightily!

We are now in Montana in a Walmart parking lot. There are about 25 RVs of all shapes and sizes overnighting. It's the most ever! It is gorgeous, with the parking lot surrounded by the Rocky Mts.

I'm on cell phone line so must hurry!!! (before I am bumped!)

Good job, Dad! Enjoy the view, and watch out you don't get burgled in the parking lot. I hear RVs are a prime target.

Did you know: That water boils at 198 degrees up here? Thus, food takes longer to cook cuz the water isn't hot enuf. Breads rise very quickly, but they aren't truly 'proofed' so must rise a 3rd time... Cakes rise so fast in the oven, (because of lack of air pressure above them,)that they will pour over the top of the tin before they can bake enuf to support themselves! Liquid evaporates so fast that two extra tablespoons must be added per cup to produce a product that is not dried out. Hmmmmmmmm... My culinary reputation is at stake!
