Wow! Moving Forward Quickly!

Well, the house, as you know... sold.
And now the buyer's house is sold, and it's a cash deal...

Today the buyers came through for another hour to inspect the place and have about decided they are going to not have an official inspection, as it will save them a few hundred dollars...

Mickey said they still love the place... and also love our stuff and would be happy to buy some of it. That sounds good.

We will be delighted if they forfeit an official inspection!

So... let's see.
We may be out of here by the end of September, (earliest) or by October 18ish... which is when our buyers close on their house.
We are moving forward as if the end of Sept. is our date.

The crazy thing is... we are taking this week, Tuesday - Saturday in Ithaca to test drive the new RV. The good news is we'll probably have some R'nR... which will be so good for Daddy's ankle... but the timing sure is weird!

Grandma's and Jackson's birthday is/are Friday so that will be fun. Grandma will be 91! Looks like she's gonna out live Grandpa!
Our campsite is just north of her!

We'll be back here by Saturday and hit the ground running!

Then youse guys come on Friday.
Then our house will be totally disassembled by Sunday...
I can't even imagine what that's gonna be like!

Then we have the house sale.
Then we clean out what's left...
Then we clean.

Then, we're homeless!
Such a pity!

Let's see.

Um, that's about it as to the sale of the house for now...

New subject.

Uncle Steve died about midnight last night.
We are so happy for him, as he has struggled so... and now is free at last!
Had many health problems and then a stroke struck!
He is 77.
What a delight it must be for him to see Jesus, for "to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD!"
He watched his dad drown when he was very young and now he can see him again, too.
For Steve, life is very good now!!!

Art was here this week to see him and came here for dinner and the night.
What a priviledge to have him in our home again.

We went to the Nazarene Church here this week as Daddy is working on a project for them... and the service was excellent! After church was a picnic and it was great fun, too! Except Daddy tried to play horse shoes and rehurt his ankle. I saw the searing pain spread across his face... and I said... "OH, NO!" And then I said, ("The dummy!")

Well, that's about it from our neck of the woods!

Et tu?
