Thanks for the tip!

Dad,

We're redoing our downstairs bathroom and living room. Yesterday Alex, Ella and I tore down wall paper and today I began prepping the walls for painting. The bathroom walls were in pretty bad shape, and the corners needed re-taping. I still have to sand and put another layer of joint compound on, but it's going pretty well so far. Mainly that's because I remember what you told me a while back - to put down one side at a time. That really helps . . . so thanks for the advice.

I'll post some pictures when it's all done.

I don't understand what you mean by "put down one side at a time."

But good luck! I'll come out and see it next weekend.

. . . spackle the first side of the corner tape, let it dry, and then spackle the other side.

Also, Alex wanted to know who the best painter in the world was. He wanted to know if Grandpa was better than me. I said probably, but that Uncle Alan and Uncle
Adam were also very good. And then I said that Uncle Alan was probably the best in the world.

In that case... if Alan is the best painter in the world... he should raise his painting prices. Dan told me today that his paint jobs average out to about $45./hour! Whew! (Come on out here!)

How is your project going, Aaron and Alexander?

Oh, I see what you mean now. I'll try that next time.

I charged myself $45 an hour and made $1000.
